School Discipline
- Punctuality is the first quality that should be possessed by Josephian. Students who reach on their own and after the school bell shall not be permitted to attend classes.
- The students must be punctual and regular in attendance.
- The students must be attentive in the class and they are expected to study the lessons taught and do the home work assigned regularly.
- If a pupil has been ill for more than 3 days the parent/guardian must inform the school authorities and produce a medical certificate stating the period for which the child is likely to remain absent.
- Attendance is deemed compulsory on reopening day and on special co-curricular days.
- Students must be responsible for the safe custody of their books and other belongings. Students should not bring any valuable articles to the school. School is not responsible for any personal article that is lost.
- Every student is urged to contribute to the high tone of the school by his/her manners and good work by paying special attention to personal and general cleanliness, politeness and courtesy.
- During school hours, no student shall leave the school premises without the permission of the Principal.
- Irregular attendance, habitual idleness, disobedience, objectionable moral influence or actions, inexcusable absence, above all, discourtesy and disrespect to teachers, are sufficient reasons for the dismissal of a student.
- The medium of instruction is English. Students shall communicate with teachers and each other only in English at all times within school premises.
- No student is excused from physical training, drill, recess period, all co-curricular and other school activities.
- Digital watches are not permitted for students of any class on any day.
- Any damage or disfigurement done to properties in or around the school premises must be made good by the parents of the student.
- Students must be present in proper uniform for all the functions of the school.
- Students are responsible to maintain their nails trimmed, hair cut decently and themselves tidy. Any student found not complying with the personal hygiene regulation in the weekly check will not be allowed to sit in the classroom.
- No student is allowed to enter school in a self-driven scooter, motorcycle or car.
